Carol Davis Horwitz
Babba to her grandchildren, age 58, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008. She is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her husband, David; children, Riva, Melissa, and Daron; grandchildren, Evan and Gabriel; parents, Phyllis and Herb; brothers and sisters, Barry Davis, Zandy and Peggy Davis, Steve and Jolene Davis, and Gail Rosenblum; beloved friend and soul sister, Lainey Berkus. Carol spent every day loving and giving to her family. Her insatiable curiosity, thirst for knowledge, and overwhelming desire to be productive were exceeded only by her tireless devotion to her family. During the eighteen months that she battled with cancer, she lived every moment as richly as possible. She spent the final phase of her life just as she spent all the days of her lifeÉwith boundless energy that no one around her ! rivaled. Carol is survived by her family who is so proud of and inspired by her. Graveside services were held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at Agudas Achim Synagogue cemetery. The family's wish is that all memorial contributions be made to 'The Garden of Friendship' at Rodfei Sholom Synagogue in memory of Carol. Arrangements with Porter Loring Mortuary.
